What we do

The Cambridge University Fire Troupe is a diverse community of individuals with a shared passion for fire. Originally established 5 years ago, it has greatly expanded since, and now includes 40-50 fire spinners from a variety of backgrounds ranging from dance to martial arts. The creativity of our members and their diversity of skills is what makes our shows unique.

What we can do for you

The Fire Troupe includes a very active performance branch, available for hire for your event. We have brought our shows to a variety of events, from the massive gothic halls of St. John’s College in Cambridge, to the contemporary Olympiad celebrations that are currently enveloping London for the 2012 Olympics. So whether you’re in need of entertainers for a private party, wanting to add a bit of sparkle to your charity event, or looking for a large-scale fire spectacle for a massive popular event, we can custom-tailor our shows to suit your needs. To the beat of the drums

We are paired up with Fruity Clavé Samba Band, a Cambridge-based percussion group, who serve adrenaline-infused beats to accompany and enhance our fireshows. They are available for hire for events, and together we can bring you our full high-energy spectacle: fire-dancing to the pulse of the drums.
